The Reno Swing Set plays a variety of music including Bluegrass, Dawg Music, Celtic, Gypsy Jazz, Swing Tunes of the 30’s and 40’s, and Western Swing. All with acoustic instrumentation.
The Reno Swing Set members are: Bill McKean–Guitars, Michael Madan–Mandolin, Jon Anderson–Flute, Saxes, Pennywhistle, and Linda Madan–Acoustic Upright Bass.
The Reno Swing Set has been together since 2016 and have performed to appreciative audiences in Reno, Virginia City, Carson City, Moab Utah, Grass Valley CA. Festival performances include The Strawberry Music Festival, Millpond Music Festival, Susanville Bluegrass Festival, Bower’s Mansion Bluegrass Festival, The Jazz and More Festival in Carson City among other many appearances.
